Marimekko teapot.

Maybe it's the Yorkshire in me – I've already got about ten teapots gathered from all over the place – but I did think, 'Ooh, what a lovely teapot!' when I saw this Marimekko beauty. I don't buy ceramics and home bits and bobs much (fashion and socialising always come first!) but this has got me tempted. In fact this whole new Marimekko range Oiva - In Good Company is lovely. If I was getting married the whole lot would be on my wedding list!

(Spotted on Yeah..Ok..Bye.)

  2. I heartily approve of a purchase such as this. I love that you have 10 teapots but are a dedicated coffee girl!

  4. Lovely tea-pot. I think a nice green tea would go well. in it, with a couple of matching cups maybe? We are BIG Yorkshire tea drinkers here - always getting visitors to bring over huge supplies.

  5. Very fine. I am a bit obsessed with Scandinavian design so it would work well at TNMA mansions.

  6. The pot reminds me how we always came back from holidays with boxes full of Swedish china because my mum loved all Swedish design... And I agree with you, it's a lovely pot and one can never have too many tea pots to choose from.

  7. You could argue that they are an essential part of both your English and Yorkshirean heritage?

You are doing your bit for the nations cultural identity!

  8. I love Zero Japan teapots - they come in 40 different colours!! And I love the fact you can get bulbous round ones, or taller skinnier ones. I must get one.

    You can see them here.
