Ilse Jacobsen boots.

It has rained in London every day this week and is due to rain for the rest of the week. Unawesome. But to be expected from this time of year, I suppose.

What is awesome are these Ilse Jacobsen Amphibious boots. I'm sick to death of wellies: only ankle or over-the-knee boots feel like the right boot length at the moment, if you care about that kind of thing. Winter just past, Londoners were wearing their hiking boots with leggings and dresses on snow days.

So these boots are the perfect length, colour (très CÉLINE), fur-lined for warmth and made from natural rubber. Want, want, WANT!

(Available from farfetch.com, a website I have only just found and which frankly needs further investigation.)

  2. Abby, I haven't even cycled once this week. I just can't do it in this weather, it's too horrible! I don't mind a light drizzle but it's proper rain.

    Ugh.

  4. Great choice. Somehow I find wellies in the city just wrong. (Especially when people proudly wear their Hunters - That's for Glastonbury, Darling! Or am I being to harsh here?) Anyway, these are loooveely!

  5. Hmm, yet again it is the shoes we disagree on.

I've no idea how you spell this word, but the one I want to use is howfin...

  6. I'm sorry but those boots are the ugliest things I've ever seen. I don't know what howfin means but I suspect that I would agee with that comment.

  10. Rain? eww. You could plug in Berlin for all that yucky weather. We've got it, too. Your plan for April that you mentioned on Making This Home sounds beautiful. Yeah for spending less and embracing more!
